Digital Marketing Mix is a broad subject, keeping principles of marketing intact and taking them to the online world. With everyone being online and that too on various devices laptop, mobile, tabloid we need to understand the behavior of customer online and methods to reach them here. Below mentioned are some of the elements of digital marketing mix which we need to consider:
  1.  Search Engine Optimization: SEO is a time consuming process which involves a lot of coding and programming. Right? Wrong: It may be a time consuming process but it has less to do with coding and more to do with what you are offering. It is an art which lists you on top of search queries of various search engines in order to increase your visibility. With increase in your reach number of visitors on your website also increases which may get your business. But to be on top of a search engine like google, your offering should not only be unique but also which benefits end consumers. 
  2. Social Media Marketing: It is not as simple as it sounds. It is 2-way process in which if you can reach your customers, they can also reach you. Many companies present today which are coming on these [platforms are not able to manage it. It also shows how you want to position your brand and plays a large role today. With every day, it is becoming more mature and complex and you need more resources to handle it as it gives you clients as well as complaints.
  3. Search Engine Marketing: You must have heard about PPC (Pay Per click) Marketing. PPC comes under the umbrella of SEM. It is a vast subject to study keeping one simple thing in mind i.e. benefit of both consumers and advertisers. It will showcase your ad only to the customers who would be interested in services which are related to your offering. Even if a person clicks and comes on to your website and doesn’t converts (filling up form/buying the product), you don’t pay. It includes a lot of negotiation and planning since quality of traffic matters most in this type of marketing strategy.
  5. Email Marketing: This is one of the oldest forms of online advertising/marketing and doesn’t fade away. This can go with highly personalized messages however, you need to have database of the prospects first. If you have database of your customers/ prospect customers you can send them personalized emails with various tools and analyze what works best. Since these are your customers or have shared their email ids to you, they will welcome your mail but never take them for GRANTED.
  6. Blogging/ Content Marketing: This is more of related to generating interesting content which your users would like. It covers all text content, images, video marketing and everything else which you put to communicate with your user. With this technique you share details of your product, its benefits, industry updates, and interesting articles with your users. Those who like your content will then share it with their friends and hence, it becomes viral giving your brand a new high.
